Nicknamed T Horns on account of the T in STANDING resembling horns. Earliest specimens found in NE Suffolk and south Humberside.
"The centre/pill of the T-horns is slightly yellow-tinged, versus a pink tinge on a Birmingham Realistic. I would say the T-horns has the best polish on the pill of any fake £2 so far, excluding the known Chinese plated ones.
The pale yellow brass is a very similar colour to that of the Birmingham fakes, but this may be coincidental." J.R.
